How it works
A DVSA test swap is a legal, phone-based exchange between two learners who already have bookings. We handle the matchmaking. You handle the 10-minute DVSA call.
Sign up & list your test
- Create a free account (name, email, phone).
- Enter your current DVSA booking: test centre, date, time, and booking reference.
- Tell us whether you want an earlier date, a later date, or either.
- Set an acceptable date range and up to 3 test centres you'd accept.
- Your booking reference is stored encrypted and never visible to anyone until after both parties pay.
We find your match
- Our matching engine checks your listing against the entire pool.
- A compatible partner is someone who has the date you want and wants yours.
- We apply all 6 DVSA eligibility rules: direction, date range, location, test type, changes remaining, and timing.
- The moment a match is found, both parties get an email and SMS alert.
- You have 72 hours to review and accept. No charge if you decline.
Pay & call DVSA
- Once both parties accept, each pays £29.99 via Stripe.
- After both payments are confirmed, we share each other's full name and DVSA booking reference.
- One of you calls DVSA on 0300 200 1122 (option 1), Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Both must be free to take the call.
- DVSA verifies both parties and completes the swap in about 10 minutes.
- Mark the swap as completed in your dashboard.
